Every year the family (on Donna's side) gets together for Thanksgiving. This year it was at my house. We had a total of 34 people this year, including four different generations. The eldest generation was represented by by three sisters all in their 90s: Grandma Rose, Aunt Etta and Aunt Celena. The youngest were represented by my kids and all of their cousins.
Since my one oven is small we ordered cooked turkeys that were picked up on Wednesday. Larry and I carved them that afternoon. I was worried the turkey would be too dry since it needed to be reheated on Thanksgiving day, but it worked out well.
As usual everyone brought food to supplement the turkey and ham and all the myriad dishes were wonderful.
The various Gould family helped out with various things. Donna and Larry helped with drinks; Matt and Erin helped with desserts; Karen and Larry helped with appetizers. Thanks all, especially Karen who probably worked as hard as I did that day.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
