Every year the Gould and Labitt branches of the family get together to celebrate Chanukah. Even though Chunukah is not until late December this year, we celebrated the day after Thanksgiving because that was when the Kansas Goulds were in town. This allows my mother, brother, sister and their families to take part since they always come to Boston for Thanksgiving (but not Christmas).
In our family, the tradition is to give gifts only to the youngest generation, which includes my kids as well as my systems kids and my cousin's kids. We also have a great meal and a chance to catch up with the family. This year, as we have in the recent past, we celebrated at Charlotte's house on Cape Cod.
There is not much more to say. Feel free to browse through the pictures of family that I took during the party.
